Our Pre-Post Natal Conditioning Specialist certificate program helps you learn about the physiological changes throughout pregnancy and how to support clients with tailored exercise protocols at every stage.
There are five courses in this program. They build the scope of knowledge and practice to address a person’s unique needs during and after pregnancy. Special attention is paid to birthing muscles, their function and how to condition them appropriately.
You also learn about changes to the round and broad ligaments and how to address ligament pain. Common complaints and movement impairments are discussed, along with best practices to address them—namely pelvic floor dysfunction and diastasis recti. Contraindications are explored, so you know how best to support pre and post-natal clients.
