Our Active Aging Specialist certificate program is designed for movement professionals helping seniors move well and stay strong. We focus on optimizing movement function, strength training and exercising the brain for physical and mental well-being.
There are eight courses in this program to build knowledge and practice specific to the strength, flexibility and balance challenges of people as they age.
Postural stability and sarcopenia are discussed throughout the program with specific courses dedicated to common degenerative conditions, like osteoporosis and arthritis, and joint replacements.
